What is a Private Limited Company?

A Private Limited Company is a business entity governed by the Companies Act, 2013. It offers limited liability to its shareholders, has a separate legal identity, and needs at least two and no more than 200 members. Shares in a private limited company cannot be freely transferred.

    • Required for signing electronic documents during registration.
      • Apply through the MCA portal for each proposed director.
    • Apply for name approval via SPICe+ Part A form.
